A Dance studio and office in its previous life, the three level conversion by Techne Architects aimed to uphold the open nature of the subdivided warehouse space. The new architectural components attempt to recede within the existing shell, and the subdued palate was chosen to highlight the original elements and structure of the building, including steel windows, staircases and trusses. The use of partitions was kept to a minimum to promote connection and interaction as well as allow daylight and airflow to stream throughout the open living areas.
Our beautiful plinth sofa, modern dining table in new hardwood, oak chairs in wenge, as well as sandblasted oregon warehouse bedsides fit effortlessly into the space.
